After working downtown as a lawyer for 12 years, I tended to take for granted the amazing architecture. Often I was more concerned with doing my job than taking in the sights.
For a piece on area legal architecture in ML - Memphis Law Magazine, I visited these places as a photographer rather than a lawyer, and really appreciated what I saw.
First up: the beautiful office of Burch Porter. Definitely one of the most remarkable buildings in Downtown Memphis.
I got to hear some stories about the building from Mike Cody, who is as interesting a man as you'll ever meet.
